A Round-Up of Week 6's Subway Players of the Week.





Senior Softball:


Ainsley Whitehead (Bulldogs)

Ainsley led the Butler Bulldogs to victory going 2-for-3 at the plate including a double off the wall, 3 runs scored, 3 stolen bases and an RBI. She also pitched two innings allowing 3 earned runs on 6 hits, 1 walk and 1 strikeout.



Junior Softball:


Nida Khwaja (UCLA bruins)

Nida had an amazing double header game this past weekend. She showed composure and confidence pitching, as well as smart game play in the field. Nida was successful at the plate hitting many batters in. Well done Nida!



Senior Baseball:


Jacob Essick (Charlotte Knights)


Jacob Essick played a key factor in the Charlotte Knights offence during Sunday’s match. Essick started his day with a 3 run home run to complete a 4 run first innings for the Knights. Essick capped off his 2 for 3 day with a line drive double in the 3rd. He eventually came around to score the Knight’s 7th and eventual game winning run.



Intermediate Baseball:

Hussein Ghoneim (Rockhounds)

Hussein helped the Rockhounds secure their first win of the season, Hussein went 3 for 4 with 1 RBI.


Minors Baseball:


Samuel Goysich (Louis Cardinals)


Samuel had a great week 6 as he pitched 2.1 shutout innings, striking out 5 while walking 1. Samuel was also 4 for 4 at the plate.

Peewee Baseball:


Cameron Miller (River Bandits)


Cameron not only had fantastic attitude but was 3 for 3 at the plate and responsible for a triple play (!!!).
